What started as a vision to uplift Black entrepreneurs on Long Island has grown into one of the most anticipated community events of the year. The 9th Annual Ujamaa Fest returns on August 1, 2026 — bigger, bolder, and more powerful than ever. Come ready to shop, connect, celebrate, and invest in your community.

Since its inception in December 2017, Ujamaa Fest has become a hallmark event on Long Island, founded by William and Falischa Moss as part of the Black Long Island™ initiative, a platform that has grown to over 55,000 members across the tri-state area. What began with over 65 vendors and 300 attendees has grown year after year into a movement that draws thousands of Long Islanders together to celebrate Black culture, commerce, and community.
