Juneteenth Jubilee Celebration (Suffolk County)

Suffolk County Executive Steve Bellone  hosts a Jubilee to celebrate, educate and reflect on what Juneteenth means to all Americans. The Jubilee Celebration featured remarks by Attorney General Letitia James, and a keynote presentation by Bishop Andy C. Lewter of Hollywood Full Gospel Baptist Cathedral.

The event included a musical performances by Elder Jeff Roberson and the NULIFE signers, The Venettes Cultural Workshop, The Wyandanch Marching Band, and a special performance by Gregson H. Pigott, MD, MPH.

Elaine Gross, President of Erase Racism, will be receiving the Ronald Manning Award from the Suffolk County African American Advisory Board and the public will have the opportunity to view historical exhibits located in the lobby of the H. Lee Dennison Building.
