Is local media looking to white wash the murder of 16-year-old stabbing victim Khaseen Morris

16 Khassen Morris may have been killed  by Murder suspect Tyler Flach, 18, of Lido Beach,

Historically when the media wants to clean something up they will paint a picture for the reader that makes the suspect look like the victim. The news media tried to get us to believe Trayvon Martin was a Hoodie wearing thug terrorizing the streets of Orlando until a local hero came to stop him.

Todays article in Newsday online reads "Lawyer: Lido Beach teen charged in stabbing death was aspiring hip-hop artist" if the headline was not miss leading the image they used to depict the suspect is.
  1. The Newsday article chose to use the young mans prom photo.
  2. Tyler Flach "The Stabber" is a 18 year old white man who killed a 16 year old black teenager.
  3. When you right click the photo that is in the Newsday article the name of the photo is "safe image".
  4. The New York Post has Tyler Flach as a 18 year old LIU Student! That seems more accurate then painting him to be some aspiring teen rapper. Tyler Flach is a college man and a High School Graduate!
The other images used in the media are just as flattering. You know you are a being "White Washed" by the media when your arrest photo looks like a stock image of a concerned man who has everything to loose if the legal system does not go his way.
When a person of color is murder suspect the media will find the least flattering photo of the suspect and make it the focus of the article. Normally its a screen shot of a youtube video if the kid is a rapper. Or if they will take a image from social media that needs Photoshop to highlight what the focus is.

I took some time to get some images together...
Now I am not a journalist but it does not take long to paint a picture that is more fact, Then one of fiction.

National media is doing a better job then our own local media in telling this tragic story of a life taken before its time. This story is bigger then the headlines

In closing I am not here to sway opinions on a issue of fact. A young man lost his life and another deserves to go through "Due Process". But we cannot stand by while the local Long Island based paper makes it look like some childish mistake. I hope the investigation and court proceedings bring s a verdict that brings peace and justice to a local community.

But if you need some people to contact to pressure the issue I will include some links
